February 27th, 2008Every month, Men’s Health magazine sells 1.8 million copies, while Shape Magazine, which is targetted at women, sells 1.5 million copies. And there are more than a dozen other popular fitness magazines available if you follow that link.
Do they serve any purpose?
I get plenty of ideas for this and other blogs from the fitness magazines I’m subscribed to. For most people the question is whether those subscriptions contribute to better fitness. If a magazine educates you, and you follow through and use that education, it’s got to be a good investment. Same thing if it motivates you.
If not, save your money and instead of reading about exercising, try just doing it.
